MISSION
PFLAG promotes the health and well being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons, their families and friends through:
- Support, to cope with an adverse society
- Education, to enlighten an ill-informed public
- Advocacy, to end discrimination and to secure equal civil rights.
PFLAG provides opportunity for talking about sexual orientation and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.



MEETINGS
Meetings are held on the 2nd Sunday of the month from September through May at First Congregational Church located at 300 South Minnesota Avenue from 3pm to 5pm.
Half of every meeting consists of brief introductions and open support group sharing, needs and concerns of individuals and families, including straight spouses, are shared. All discussion remains confidential. The other half of the meeting is educational with guest speakers and/or short films to facilitate further discussion.
For our mutual benefit, we welcome and encourage gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people to attend our meetings.
